Should I drop AP Bio?

Hi, I just started junior year this week, and I’m already extremely swamped with work. I’ve been getting no more than 4 hours of sleep each night, and it’s only the 4th day of school.
Here’s my current schedule:

  • AP US History
  • AP Lang
  • AP Bio
  • Pre-Calc Honors
  • Spanish 3 Honors
  • 2nd level of an art class

I’ve been thinking about dropping AP Bio primarily because it requires so much reading. I already have enough reading to do for APUSH and AP Lang. Plus, last year, only one person at my school got a 5 on the AP Bio exam. I’ve been considering dropping AP Bio and taking a regular Physics class instead (no honors Physics course available at my school).

I only have 1 day left to drop AP Bio. I want to stick it out and take 3 AP classes. I dropped my sport to focus on my grades and to focus on volunteering, but I’m already struggling so much. Maybe it’s because I need time to adjust to my challenging classes? I like AP Bio, it’s just difficult to find time to read and study.

tl;dr-- Should I drop AP Bio and take regular Physics instead?

At this point, I would advise you to take regular physics. I think it’s gonna be way better for you in the long run.

^ Agreed. You should not be getting only 4 hours of sleep. I think taking physics would do you some good.
