<p>SHould i drop out of Academic Decathlon?
I am currently a freshman
taking 1 AP, 2 honors.
If i do stay, will it help me get into a better college than if i am not in it?</p>
<p>I think college love to see students who are active in academic ECs like Academic Decathlon, Quiz Bowl, Debate, Robotics, Science Olympiad, etc. I think basically because they show a love of learning. Now… if you really don’t like it, don’t do it just for apps. Do something you DO like because that will really shine through in your essays, accomplishments, and recommendations.</p>
<p>Yes, it is good only if you like it.</p>
