Should I email MIT about an achievement I forgot on the app?

So I am a member in my schools Business Professionals of America club, which I put on my application. Last year, I made it to the national level competition in Fundamentals of Web Design. I actually placed in the Top 10 for my event, but I forgot to mention that as part of the national competition we all had to take the MTA Exam 98-363 (Web Development Fundamentals). I passed the exam, so now I am MTA certified - is this something I should make a big deal about in admissions, or just kind of let it go? If it is something to contact MIT about, how would I go about asking them to put it on my application?

Call or email admissions and tell them you would like to add an accomplishment/award to your file. They will let you know. You want to put your best application forward. It is really up to you whether you would like them to consider this additional information in your application.

Opted not to as it is likely not a deal-breaker.

For those still wondering or if they can’t decide, wait till you hear the results of you EA application (If you applied EA). On the My MIT, there is a “February Updates and Notes Form” that is for this use for deferred EA applicants and RD applicants. They realize that lots of achievements come in the time between when you apply and when they decide so this avenue would be good for that.
I would say only email/notify them otherwise if you had a very large accolade or competition, small things will likely not be a deal-breaker like ARandomGeek stated previously.
