Should I even apply to UVA and Georgia Tech for engineering?

Hey so I am a white male for northern VA looking to go into engineering

Gpa weighted 4.31 all As except one B in calculus AB . To make up for this, I took BC calc at nova community (Top cc in us) and got an A. As a result, my nova gpa is 4.0.

SAT math 2: 770

Awarded magnum cum laude on Latin 4 national exam.

Attended a leadership camp.

Lol, you should definitely get into Georgia Tech. I’m not saying 100% because nothing is guaranteed, but you are a very strong applicant. I’m not too familiar with UVA, but it seems like you should fit their profile.

I’m OOS…

Doesn’t matter. Your scores are good enough to make up for that. If you were on the edge for stats, then I would say OOS would hurt. Lol do you think you would need a 36 to get in OOS? Plus, your composite is misleading because your science and reading are lower than your math, english, and english combined writing and they only look at the latter three(for GA-Tech). You should definitely apply, and I’m sure you’d get in.

I think you have a pretty good chance actually
