Should I even send a poor SAT II WH score?

Hi all,
I've already submitted my SAT scores up til November, which include:
CR: 800
M: 670
W: 750
Literature: 780
Math I: 690

I just received my World History score from December and it's not very good (570). None of my Regular Decision schools require, nor recommend, three subject tests. At most, they -require- two subject tests, which I've got covered. Also, my anticipated major is International Relations, in case that affects the value of WH vs Math.

Should I even send this score report?
Thanks.

Which schools are you applying to? For top 35 schools, I'd suggest not to.

If they only require 2, and this is your third, don't bother sending it. Why waste your money for a test that doesn't help, and which colleges say they won't consider anyway? (They usually say they'll consider your top two.)

Thanks a lot, but I absentmindedly forgot to mention another factor: on my Common App that I submitted a while ago before I took the test, I indicated that I planned on taking the WH test in December on the Standardized Test section of the application. is it likely that I'll be penalized for not submitting a score report after having indicated that I would be taking the test on my application?

Thanks again

I strongly doubt you would be penalized even if you indicated that on your App. For all they know, you may have been sick and couldn't take the test. Or you just forgot to send the score in.
