I only have 4 courses left after this semister, at bunker hill community college should i simply transfer to bridgewater state or just finish my community college? I have 55 credits with a 3.4GPA

somebody told me that you’re more likely to have all of your credits transfer to a university if you have an associates degree, but i’m not 100% sure about how true that is. It also depends on where you’re transferring, but since you already have it figured out, maybe you should just talk to them and see what classes will transfer if you haven’t already.

Some universities have a maximum number of credits they’ll transfer, so make sure you don’t have too many and choose your classes wisely (ones that fit in with your major), because they’re much cheaper there than they are at a university

The only other reason I’d get an associates degree is if you’re getting certified for something or you need one for whatever career you’re going into. For some majors, you can’t really do anything with an associates degree.

I would finish, since you only have four classes left. Besides, hasn’t the semester already started? Most schools don’t allow you to transfer in during the semester.
