Should I go ahead with the SAT II Lit?

I'm signed up to take the SAT II Lit next week. I've been prepping with different books, reading their info sections and doing some practice tests. But I'm not seeing much improvement. My scores have ranged from 620-650 on practice tests, so I'm pretty worried. I got an 800 on an SAT II I took in November, and I don't want Lit to ruin my score report.
So, should I keep practicing and go ahead with the test? Can I just use scorechoice to omit the score - if bad - from score reports I send to colleges later? Can colleges tell if I use scorechoice?
One experience I've had with standardized tests is that I'm more alert during the real thing, and usually score better. And Lit is all reading, so alertness is key. Is it possible that I'll see improvement? What do you think?
Thanks!

…bump, anyone?

How good are you at reading? Lit isn’t really a test you can rely too much on study books for. if you feel confidence in your skills, i say go for it. also, what books are you using?

I’m pretty confident in my reading (though my practice test scores have challenged that confidence…) I read a lot in my free time, and I’m also in AP Language & Composition, where we do a lot of assigned reading and multiple choice practice.

I’m using the Barron’s book for just the information section, because I felt their practice tests were way harder than the real thing. I took all 4 Princeton Review tests without seeing much improvement. Today, I’m moving on to the Kaplan book’s practice tests, which I’ve heard are pretty easy. And I’m taking the CB book test in a few days to gauge my progress.
