Should I go to NYU or USC for masters?

I’m considering going to either NYU or USC (Southern California) for masters. I got my eye on NYU’s integrated marketing program and USC’s communication management program.

Both schools are top notch and highly ranked and I like both programs as well. I’ve always dreamed of living in socal since I love the weather and surf culture. But New York is a close second on my list.

The problem with USC is that I’ve read some crazy crime stories around the campus and it’s apparently one of the universities with the highest crime rates (correct me if I’m wrong). Money is not a problem here cos I’ll be paying the same tuition. Which one should I choose?

I am assuming that you are taking about applying in the future. Why not apply to them both? You do have to be accepted first.
Where you live can change your crime rate. My niece lived in Santa Monica when she was getting her PhD at USC. For both, make sure that you understand your housing options.
