Should I graduate a year early?

Hi everyone! I’m transferring to UC Davis as a political science major this upcoming Fall. I realized that I will be able to finish all of my classes and fulfill the requirement to take at least 64 units at UC Davis within one year instead of two. I did not receive any aid or grants, so the idea of not having to take out more loans to pay for an extra year is great, but I don’t know if I will regret not spending one more year in Davis. The idea of saving money and minimizing future debt should be a no brainer but i’ve been looking forward to the “college experience” for such a long time. An extra year would also allow me more time to work on grad school applications, create and maintain a relationship with a professor or mentor-type figure for recommendation letters, get more involved in student activities and take advantage of internship opportunities, but spending half the price for a Bachelors degree sounds almost too good to pass up…I’m very conflicted lol. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

P.S. I’m traditional age and spent 2 years at my cc
