Should I handSCORE?? please reply!!

Ok,
I got my scores back from SAT I. I'm not a score-obsessed kid and I dont care too much bwt a 700 and 790 ..b.c I was surprised to see my CR Critical rEADING SCORE to be kind of low.

690/720 CR/Math

Would hand-scoreing do soemthing for me? or is it just a waste-of money?

Hand-scoring might be good if you erased a lot and think the machine could have misread your answers. If you used a number 2 pencil neatly, handscoring probably is a waste of money--unless it brings you peace of mind.

Maybe you just didn't score as well as you normally do?

Not to take over your thread but I had the same problem but mine is a bit more drastic
went from Writing: 680 to a Writing: 610
and this was after studying and actually preparing for the SAT
my other scores remained about the same so I don't think it could have been just freaking out on the test
So do you think I shoudl get a hand-scored?

PS- Essay grade was the same as on the previous exam

Go ahead and handscore. But don't be suprised if you score stands.

Everyone is saying drastic....680 to 610 is like only missing like 3-4 more....maybe you just didn't know the answers!

is it really only like missing 3-4? wow I didn't think it was that close

it's highly unlikely that the computer messed up but i guess its possible. i think itd just waste ur money
