<p>Nowhere in the commonapp am I given room to write about travel. But having been to 40 countries and 6 continents, travel is a big part of my life. Is it worthwhile to include this? My 10 activities section is already full :/</p>

<p>So… be careful with this. If this is something you have done because you come from a wealthy family, then it isn’t going to particularly impress admins. If it is for some other reason (grew up in a military or foreign service family and got to see a lot of the world? Family gave up their possessions and traveled the world for some years?), then it is interesting to admissions. Otherwise it is more a sign of privilege, and not very meaningful in itself. Also… you COULD write your Common App essay about it if it is truly defining.</p>
<p>Has the travelling affected your schoolwork at all? Do you routinely travel during the school year as well? </p>
