<p>Hi, I was recently accepted to UMich. I was wondering, what is RC? How does RC differ from simply living in a dorm? What opportunities does RC provide? Does it also limit the things you can do because of its requirement? And finally, is it worth it to join a RC and how will it affect your college life?</p>
<p>Experiences and advice would be appreciated. I hope to know mroe about RC that isn't presented in the viewbook and catalogues...</p>

<p>It depends. If you are into really artsy stuff, you might want to join the Residential College. If you are not, you won't want to join that one.</p>
<p>You still might want to do one of the career-specific things though.</p>
