Should I just drop AP Bio? Very few classmates are seriously paying attention to her lectures.

Time to rant. Brace yourselves.

My teacher doesn’t give any review guides. It’s impossible to gauge whether we are overprepared or underprepared. The labs that we’re doing feel pointless; I’d rather just get to the stuff that’s going over the AP exam and learn how to write well about the material. At least I can look up the lab answers online to preserve my grade.

My parents aren’t helping. They’re doctors, but they can’t tell transcription from translation. They’re getting pissed over things they can’t understand. If someone could explain this coursework to them. Maybe they won’t be so pissed.

Actually reading the Campbell textbook isn’t helping. Barron’s is keeping my quiz average in the high 60s. Bozeman Science explains this material better than my teacher. I can’t rely on her anymore.

What other science courses would you recommend? I performed much better in Pre-AP Chem and Pre-AP Physics in junior and sophomore years respectively because they are more calculations than memorization. Meanwhile I’m going to punch a wall.

If the teacher is the problem, maybe consider taking biology from community college (dual enrollment)?

Drop AP Bio. If you’re registered for the exmaen, use the free period to prepare on your own.
At this point you’re overwhelmed (as all your messages show) so it’s better to let they class go. See your GC wrt the specifics.
