That sounds like a pretty heavy load - even with a study hall. Cratering your GPA or getting a D in any one class will upend your college plans (though even then, you’ll have options). I am not telling you to slack off but, take a course-load you are confident you can manage with a 3.5 or better.
OP, a defeatist attitude will get you nowhere in life. You are quite capable. Keep working towards your goal.
“90% of College Confidential is abnormally smart people, so you dont need to be discouraged by what you see on this website.”
I would venture to say many of the test scores / profiles here are not real. Otherwise 50% of the posts are in the top 1-2% of all test takers.
Your studies should come first (and fun – do not forget to have fun!). As obviously intelligent as you are, I’m certain you can maintain or improve that GPA and achieve some good test scores by applying a bit of academic elbow grease.
Do try to join a club or two, but don’t choose arbitrarily; rather, choose a club you might enjoy. You are into piano – are there music- or art-related clubs at your school? If so, it might be worthwhile to look into them. The same goes for other interests of yours: if there is a club for it, or for a related activity, check it out.
