Should I just give up?

I need to take this out of my chest.

My freshman year in college was terrible due the lack of motivation. My first semester I got a 0.0(did not go to classes). By the end of my sophomore year I had a 1.41 gpa(got kicked out of college). After that I decided to attend a community college to try to get serious I was forced to go back to Argentina because my mother, my father and my sister died in a car accident. Ended up getting another 0.0 for the semester. Came back for the spring in a bad shpe, I was so depressed that I tried to kill myself twiced. I also wasn't able to bring myself to do anything including college(another 0.0). After some therapy I gave community college a final shot and got a 3.9 for the year.

Now that I finally want to study and realized how important college is I feel that I screwed way too much to the point of where no college will accept me.

I just need to know how much trouble I am in. I want to be able to transfer to UB for Computer Science.

Don’t give up hope. Keep up the good work and ask if an academic counselor at your college can do an “academic renewal”. In extreme cases such as yours, the college may waive the records of the semesters for which you can prove you were going through extreme circumstances.

hugs for like 2 hours Do NOT give up!!! You have already changed your life 180, just keep doing!!!   :D

Definitely look into Academic Renewal! Don’t give up, having a college degree is worth it.

1 post, joined today, bday = january 1st (ie. default) = just give up already.

^ Stop ■■■■■■■■ him. He’s been through a lot.

If you are asking this here, means you are not ready to give up yet. If you wanted to quit you wouldn’t waste time posting this.
You went through all those till now, that’s already a lot, why quit not worth it.
