Should I link my Khan Academy to my CollegeBoard account?

Need advice please. Khan Academy offers targeted PSAT/SAT practice based on your previous scores and the problems you got wrong. If you link your Khan Academy account to your College Board account, they will customize your on-line practice to help with areas in which you seem to be weaker.

QUESTION: Are there any privacy concerns of which we should be aware? When you’re about to connect, Khan Academy mentions that they might also send your info (minus personal details) to the College Board…and to your state’s Dept of Education. This made us a bit nervous.

P.S. I searched a bit and didn’t see any discussion on this specific topic. Sorry if I missed it!

I had linked both of my accounts , and I don’t think there were any concerns with it. In fact, it really helped me to devise a schedule and work towards my test date. Best of luck!

I’ve never heard anyone else express concern - only good reviews by people, saying it is well worth linking.

Link it. Them sending your info to CB is innocuous. CB will already have your SAT and AP scores ultimately–no need to miss out on good, decent, free test prep along the way.

I’m wary of any linking of two separate accounts. There’s very, very little oversight of college board and you have no idea what they’ll do, not just with our information (name, etc) but also what they’ll do with the data they collect.
You do not need to link accounts to use Khan Academy.
