Should I major in environmental science???

<p>What I want to do in the future is do research on how to get rid of pollution/protect the environment. Is this the right field to go into? Are there jobs like this? I dont know if this is important but I would like to do alot of field work.</p>

<p>Also if I go to undergrad for environmental science can I go on to environmental engineering? Would that be a good idea?

<p>I have a friend with the same goals as you who is majoring in Chemical Engineering. If you want to go into environmental engineering, you might want to look into getting an engineering degree instead of environmental science–I think engineering would prepare you more specifically for what you want to be doing.</p>
