During the summer before my senior year, my parents offered me a paid job to help them remodel a house. I worked for about 8-10 hours per week for about a month. I was paid around $50 per week. Some of my responsibilities included gardening, moving furniture, painting, etc. After the house was remodeled, I also helped them give tours and talked with prospective clients. Does the fact that I worked for my parents and not a company make this work experience seem irrelevant? If so, should I still mention this on my app?
If it is relevant to the course that you want to pursue in college then I guess it’s fine.
