What do you guys think? (I know my GPA is pretty low :/ )

You seem like a good candidate. Your GPA is not bad especially because of the upward trend. The only questionable thing is your math sat ii but if you are retaking it, a 770+ would be ideal. You should definitely apply EA to Harvard if it is your first choice. Make sure your common app essay is good.

Are you hispanic? Either way, your stats are good enough to get you in the running. Ecs look about average, but you still can get in with some great recommendation letters and if you write really great essays.

Did you seriously ask a Peruvian if she was Hispanic? Oh my…

Anyways, you definitely are competitive the only thing that will set you apart from the rest is if you a) cure cancer or b) write an incredibly interesting/amazing essay. Good luck :)

Well just because she lived in Peru doesn’t mean she’s Hispanic. There are plenty of non-Hispanic people living in South America. You can’t assume someone’s Hispanic because they lived in a South American country.

^^^Yes, there are tons of Italian and German descendents (post WWII arrivals). So it depends on how you define Hispanicness–on language, geography, or genes.
