Should i prepare for the psat with a sat review book?

Should i just use a sat review book to study since the psat is just a shorter version of the sat with no essay?

Also if i do use a sat book, should i use princeton review or kaplan? and please dont recommend me the blue book since im saving that for later :)

Yes, save yourself some $ and just use a SAT review book. I used PR, but it did not help me personally, and I have heard Kaplan is way too easy in comparison to the actual test. The Blue Book has 10 practice exams which are all accurate; unless you think you will go through all 10 quickly/easily, I would recommend just spacing the exams out over a long period of time to target trouble areas which you need to study. You should then study in those areas before taking your next practice test.

Edit: I personally found Barron’s SAT 2400 to be incredibly helpful for reading/writing, so if you think you need to focus on those areas of the SAT, I highly recommend it.

Blue Book is the fundamental needed to prep for the SAT so I don’t see why you would br saving it for later, because the practice tests in there are similar to what you will be tested on
