Should I really retake for that seemingly "magical" 32+ ACT?

@ManaManaWegi The numbers are correct. Last year 1.924 million took the exam so 100,000 or 5.2% of the test takers scoring a 31 and above is perfectly reasonable.

@NikkuWadde There are some youtube videos with some strategies for taking the science portion. It sounds similar to what @Undecided3494 is describing. My son raised his science subscore 4 points (ended up with a 36) after implementing some of the strategies. That section is really more of a time-management issue than anything.

Okay thanks. I’m gonna take the SAT in October and just be done with it.
It’ll be too late for ED at Gtown and the Ivies, so I’ll have to stick with my 31 for that. But, if I don’t get in ED (I probably won’t) then I can send in my (hopefully excellent) SAT scores to the other schools.
