Should I report these AP scores?

I have heard that AP scores don’t carry a huge weight in the admissions process, but if you do well on them, they can give you a boost. With that being said, I took 4 AP tests last year and will be taking 6 this year. Last year I received the following scores:

AP Calculus AB (5)
AP Chemistry (4)
AP Psychology (5)
AP World History (4)

Are these scores considered “good?” Should I report them, or would they have a negative impact? I am planning to apply to UC’s, if that makes a difference. Thank you.

You should definitely report Psychology and Calculus because you got a 5 (the highest possible score). All of these are considered “good” scores and if you do not report them, but took the class, this will seem suspicious. No offense, but please talk to your GC because you seem a bit off-track (you should know that a 5 is the highest possible score on an AP).

@kimclan1 I do know that a 5 is the highest score…lol. And thanks.

They are 4s and 5s. Why are you worried about reporting them?

Just like what kimclan1 said, definitely report your AP Calculus and Psychology scores because you got 5’s… and I’d also suggest reporting AP Chemistry because that’s not an easy exam. It really depends on your major… if you’re going for a science major, then these scores are great. Consider submitting the APWH one too, just to show that you’re a well rounded person.

@olliegt @greenlegobrick Thanks guys. Pretty sure I’ll report all these scores because I think I did horribly on some of the exams I took this year

@wormholes You’re welcome, and good luck!
