I am very pleased with my composite score of 35. However, it was my first real test (I took a few practice ones) and I scored 36 in english, math, and science and 32 in reading. Considering these factors, would it be worth my time to try and bring it up to a 36 – and do colleges even see a difference?
No, definitely not. You’re good.
No! You are done!
No, focus on other parts of your app
Most colleges view a 34-36 as basically the same score. A 35 on the ACT puts you at the 75th percentile for Harvard. I’d focus on making yourself standout. To be honest, getting a 36 is pretty much luck and extremely hard to get, only .1% of test takers get it I think. Good luck on the rest of your application.
