On the June ACT, I got a 34 ( E-35, M-36, R- 35, S - 31). I think I can boost my science score in September and pretty much superscore a 35/36. Is it worth retaking it? If I don’t do well in Sept., will I have to send in the score, or can I only send in the June score?
Thanks
Where are you applying? How many times have you taken it? What grade are you in?
I’m applying to mid-top tier schools - maybe an Ivy or two. This is my 3rd time, and I’ll be a senior.
You should be fine with a 34. I know a lot of upper echelon schools like seeing 2 or 3 times tops and senior year can get hectic (I know it’ll be for me). If you have time go for it though! You could easily get your score up
I would only retake if you can still apply EA/ED to your top schools. Really, past 34, it is sometimes considered “random” as to who gets in. It may be in your best interest to accept the 34, not a bad score whatsoever, and apply as early as you can.
No need for you to retake. Work on the other aspects of your application. Congratulations on a great score!
Don’t retake it’s a good score.
