should i retake the SATII math level 2?

SAT math IIC score- 690</p>

<p>should i retake the subject test? or is 690 on the level 2 good in comparison to my 700 on the regular.</p>

<p>Depends what you plan to major in. If you plan to major in some type of engineering/math/science category, you need to get higher math scores. Go for 800.</p>

<p>If you are applying to the top colleges, especially the top engineering/math/science schools, then retake it. If you’re going for a liberal arts, probably not.</p>

<p>From what I have researched, not getting an 800 at ivies will probably stand out. But if you’re not applying to ivies/you’re not pursuing a math-related area, you’re probably okay. But if you are willing to retake and studying a bit, I would.</p>
