Hi. So I just took a subject test today and was wondering if i should rush report it since sending it regularly might take too long. I know penn accepts jan scores, and it's only one score, so should i wait to see what my score is or send it right away? I'm not too confident with the score, but i know it's a better score than the other subject tests scores that penn currently has in my file right now...so i guess i would send it either way.

Rush meaning the express option they offer for $30 extra? If we’re thinking of the same thing, do NOT. I did, and apparently, it sent what most colleges consider “unofficial” versions of the scores. At least, it showed up as unofficial for Harvard (not sure about Penn). As I understand it, it’s all electronic now, so Penn will still get the report quickly.

You should call and ask. My guess is NO. Dartmouth’s website expressly tells people NOT to rush send scores – they say they just download the results from a secure server and therefore, it’s a ripoff for students who pay for “rush” sending. You should call Penn Monday to find out specifically.

Will do. Thanks!!
