Should I self report a 3 on the AP Chemistry exam?

I am planning on majoring in Computer Science at a UC, and I don’t know if I should self report the 3 I got on the AP Chem test.

AP scores are not used for admission purposes. A 3 is passing and depending upon the UC, you may receive credit. There is no harm in reporting.

Are you sure about this? Because a UCSD rep once told me that if you do not report an AP score they will wonder why.

I guess I did not make myself clear. You should report your AP score. It is just that the AP score is not used to determine admissions, they will just wonder why you did not self report.

Definitely report. They want you to take the course and take the exam. It’s to show that you were serious about taking the course.

3 is passing. You get credit (depends). I reported my 3’s.
