Should I send a Midyear Report?

So, Michigan had a mishap (thinking they didn't have something that they in fact did have) so my application finally became complete on January 3rd. I applied to Engineering with perferred admit to Ross. I have a 4.0 UM GPA, and got a 4.0 UM GPA this semester I believe (it just ended on friday, so there was a possiblility of me getting a B+ in AP English Language) but it may be a 3.83 UM GPA.

My question is: Should I send in a Midyear report? If I get that B+ (solid B at Michigan) should I send it in?

Thanks!

Michigan doesn't require midyear reports. And unless you really think it would help them decide on admission, I wouldn't send one in, especially since you think your GPA may go down.

I got the A-, so that's still a 4.0 for Michigan. I think I'll call and ask if they want one.

I didn't have time to call. Should I send them the grades or would it matter? It may have better rank, idk if that matters since I have a 4.0 by their standards.

It's up to you, if you think that sending the grades will give you an advantage, then go ahead, send them in, but I think that since you have already kept a 4.0 GPA that should be okay for them and you won't need to send a midyear report. Personally, I don't think it would matter much if you sent one in.

If you think you're going to be deferred, I'd say send one. Otherwise don't worry too much about it.

I'm only sending one because I feel like I'll probably be deferred.
