should I send a thank-you?

i applied ED and they send me back a verification email, telling me to reply if there was anything that needed to be changed. there was a correction, which i emailed. today i got an email back from the assistant director of admissions saying:

Hello curiouskatie,
I made the change.

Should I send a thank-you email back? I dont want to swamp this probably-very-busy-person with an extra email, but I want to be polite. If so, what should the email say?

Thanks

I doubt they would give a second thought to a thank you letter, but i doubt it would hurt..

Don't bother. They know you're grateful ;)

wow, did anyone else get that?

I asked for them to add something in yesterday. And my adcom emailed back saying that's fine, thanks.

I sent a thank you email back..
I thought it was ok to send one.. since I was really grateful.

If you want to send one send it ! :)

:) thanks, i did

either way, doesn't matter at all

don't overburden yourself with trifle details; don't try to overanalyze everything - it only adds on to your anxiety

hhahaha i dont think a thank you would have applied to the "that's fine, thanks" because it just implies "thanks, bye" do you say thanks back to a bye? but thats ok. but katie, i think a simple "thank you!' would be ok.

shushhh..... i just said thanks back cus i wanted tooo!! :) lol

as soul says.. don't overanalyze things!! haha
