Should I send an update to my colleges about this?

I am a US Presidential Scholar candidate, which is sponsored by the Department of Education. The criteria for this qualification is to score as one of the highest students in your state on either the SAT or ACT. (I scored a 36 on the ACT, 2360 on the SAT).

It's a great honor to make it to the final round, but selections for those won't happen until after college decisions are out. Even though colleges already know my SAT/ACT scores, I think it wouldn't hurt to send them this update. What do you think?

For reference, I applied to selective schools like HYP and other well-regarded institutions.

If you really want to, you can, but I don’t think it will affect your application much because colleges already see your high scores and know you did very well.

Yeah, I’m worried it might be redundant, but there’s a difference between doing well and being one of the top 30 girls in the state, right? Would it hurt at all to send?

I think that you should send it, but only if it’s the first time and only time that you’ll be sending them new information. If you expect more awards/honors to come, then you should wait.

When should all updates be sent by?
