Should I send in a 32 ACT or a 2090 SAT?

I looked at the conversion and saw that the 32 was a higher score on the SAT with writing, but on the other side it showed the score with just math and CR and it showed a 1400-1430, and I received a 1400 with just those two scores on my SAT. Which is better/which should I use to send to colleges?

If it helps my scores were 34 E, 29 M, 34 R, 31 S on ACT.

ACT is better hands down. However, if you got a 650+ on SAT Math I would say to send both scores as I think a 29M translates to around a 630-640.

Yeah I got a 690 Math, thank you for your advice.

My SAT was a 680 M (typo on my last reply), 720 CR, and 690 W.

Those are very respectable and similar scores. I wish you the best of luck in the admissions process

Sometimes you can send both. Probably would not hurt to do that.

If you have time to retake the ACT I would. With a little bit more studyin you can go up 2-3 points for your composite score. I took it twice the first time I didn’t really study and got a 32 and then with a little hard work I was able to get a 35. I only took the SAT once and got a 2040 so the ACT score really helped me get into some good schools.

Yeah I do have time @Undecided3494. I’m a junior and took the SAT three times with tutoring and that was my first time taking the ACT and I went in blind. I didn’t even know that skipping a question and getting one wrong are the same thing on this test, which is where I went wrong on the math section (skipped four and got a 29). I probably will do that. Thank you
