should I send me 3rd subject test?

I just took my 3rd subject test and got the score today (I'm applying to Gtown so I need 3 for that), and I got a 750. Obviously I'm happy with this, but my first 2 tests were 800s (on Math 1 and US History, and the 750 was Lit). So I was wondering, for the colleges that require 0-2 subject tests, sending the 800s would be a no brainer but should I sent the 3rd score? I feel like it might help since it would show I can succeed in more areas, but at the same time maybe it would be better to send all 800s when it comes to subject tests? I'd just like to know which you guys think would make more sense.
Thanks for your advice! :)

*my

wow, just saw the typo in the title. my apologies, that’s a bit embarrassing…

I think your Math and USHist show good variety. The 750 in lit is a wonderful score too. It will not hurt you at all and might help because that Lit test is pretty hard. You don’t need to send it though.

I wouldn’t send the lit… its 50 points lower than the other two

Lit is usually considered one of the hardest subject tests, so I’d definitely send it in. What was your CR score on the regular SAT?

Lit is what all the fools at my school take who couldn’t handle MATHII or PHYSICS.

Definitely send in all three! The 750 can only help you, especially since the SATII Literature Test is notoriously difficult. Good job :).

Thanks for your thoughts so far everyone! @Dramamine: I got a 790. Should I let Critical Reading just stand on its own since it’s a higher score?

Hmm that actually makes it a little tougher. Still though, the literature is MUCH harder than the CR, and the point difference isn’t that bad, so I think I’d still send it. I can’t imagine a college rejecting you because of a 750 SAT II score.

There is no SAT II on which a 750 is too bad to send.

Literature is incredibly difficult. I dunno why SGK’s so bitter, but as somebody who struggled mightily with AP Physics B–oh boy my grade in that one was not very good–and then sailed to a 770 on the Physics SAT II, without studying beyond what I did for class, two months before the class was even over (so I hadn’t learned everything), I have no idea what he is talking about. Yes, I got a higher score on Lit, just barely, but it was one of the more difficult multiple-choice tests I have taken in my life. Like, head-and-shoulders more than any AP test.

So yes, feel good about getting a 750 on lit.

Edit: and I was an English person at that point, although I’ve since switched to History, so it’s not like physics is my thing. Words are my thing.

Thanks for all the support! To clarify, I’m not feeling at all bad about my score (especially since I did no prep and had a fever of 101 when I took it haha), I was just wondering if it was worth sending it or if I should send only 800s since I have that option. But it’s sounding like I might as well send it, so I’ll probably do that :)

For me math/physics are my thing. I got 800 Physics/mathII/chemistry, and I can safely say that it hard to do.

Well, yes. 800 on any test is hard to do. What I am confused about is why literature is what the “fools” take who “can’t handle” Math II or Physics. …No?
