Should I sign up for the January SAT as a senior?

I am already signed up to take the SAT this Saturday but I could really use the winter break to prep for the January SAT if I do not get the score that I want. I know some colleges don’t accept the Jan SAT but some do. I have heard that colleges will accept SAT scores past their application deadline, is that true?

By the way, the December SAT will be my first time to take the SAT so I am worried that I might mess up due to lack of experience.

Schools will state “All supporting documentation must re received by…” if the deadline is different from the application deadline.

Rather late to get started on this process.

Sign up for both. The experience of taking it the first time will help you when you take it again in January. It’s pretty normal to take it several times. Deadlines for colleges are coming up Jan1 / Feb 1 and it may help you to have some score available.
