ok, so i just took the SAT today...and like i'm pretty sure i got a well enough score to satisfy me and my college choices..

however, i already signed up for the April 4 ACT. Since colleges need EITHER act or sat, should cancel my ACT or if that actually costs money, can i just not go that day. Will it hurt me to not go? i really don't wanna take the ACT...

the SAT has been difficult for me to master, but the ACT was a lot easier for me.
if money isn't a huge deal, just take the test, if you do well, great!
if not, then just don't report the score.

Since you have already paid to sign up for the ACT, you might as well take it. If you do not show up on the ACT day you can get part of your money back by writing them. It does not cost any money to not take it. If you don't care about the money, you just don't show up and that's all.

Unless you get a 2400, I would take the ACT once. Most people tend to click better with either the SAT or the ACT. Also, if you like science, there is a science section on the ACT, which might help you out.
