Should I submit a research supplement?

Hey there! I am applying to top schools as a CS major, and I had conducted some research over the summer related to blockchain and the like. I have mentioned this in my 10 activities on common app and made references to it in some of my “Why Major” essays. However, I’m not sure whether I should submit it as a supplement to colleges. I wouldn’t say it’s outstanding or anything, and I don’t know the caliber and degree of research done in America as I come from a small country and my college professor wasn’t very helpful. I don’t want to ruin my chances, but I’m scared that if I don’t submit it, it will look bad on me, and if I do, they’ll see that it’s not very good. What should I do?

Ah - no response

Some schools provide ways for you to submit research supplements. For those schools, it wouldn’t hurt your application to submit one even if it isn’t impressive. The worst it could happen is it’d be ignored. For other schools, it likely won’t matter either way.
