<p>Pretty soon I'll be applying to Cal Poly SLO for aerospace engineering. Last year my school required all juniors to take the ACT as part of some survey, so I took it without any preparation and here are my scores:</p>
<p>Composite: 30
English: 30
Math: 29
Reading: 34
Science: 28</p>
<p>Those numbers aren't bad, but admission to Cal Poly's engineering program is also very competitive. Would it be worthwhile to submit my ACT in addition to my SAT, or could my ACT scores hurt my chances?</p>
