I took both the ACT and the SAT. I did very well on the ACT, but not so well on the SAT. My question is, should I submit BOTH the ACT and the SAT, or can I not report my scores for the SAT? I'm filling out the Common Application, and I'm not sure if withholding the scores will hurt me, or if reporting them will also hurt my chances of getting into colleges.

Some colleges ask that you submit all your scores The policy is usually listed at the admissions website.

Many colleges superstore individual parts of the ACT and SAT, so it might be worthwhile for you to send them all.

The colleges WILL throw out the lower scores and it will not harm you, according to what admissions counselors and the schools have said in the past.
