Should I take both the SAT and the ACT?

I’m preparing for both the university entrance exam in my country and in the U.S. They cover different topics, and even though I’ll take the one in my country my senior year and the SAT/ACT my junior year, I have to start studying for the both of them this year. What I’m trying to say is, my schedule will be extremely full and I don’t really have time for studying for both the SAT and the ACT, is it okay if I only take the SAT?

Yes, taking only the SAT should be OK… but note that many of the very selective schools (which give out the most financial aid) also require the SAT II tests.

Most students only take SAT or ACT and there is no point to take both. A solid score in either one of them would get you to a good college. If you scored high in any of them, you just need to focus on other parts of your application, like do more ECs.

You shoudl take the SAT and SAT subjects in your best subjects, OR the ACT.
