Should I take Calc over the summer?

Right now I'm in advanced math (Precalculus) but CP. I was in honors for geometry frosh year and got an A but i ended up getting sent to CP Algebra 2 and got stuck in CP for Precalculus as well. I was reccomended for AP Calculus AB next year. Do you think it would be a good idea to mabye take AB or CP Calc over the summer so that maybe I can get into BC Calc next year if thats even possible? Let me know what you think.

what do you guys think?

In general, even for math-heavy majors in college, it is not necessary to come in highly advanced in math (i.e. you can start calculus as a college frosh, assuming a strong precalculus background; there are a very few schools which are exceptions).

Your high school does not have a one year BC course for students who have just completed precalculus?

No yeah it does have one year of BC Calc, but I’m just saying this because I will be applying to elite schools that would probably look down upon the fact that I’ve only taken CP math for 2 yrs.
