<p>okay so im going to be a junior in highschool and i havent taken any AP/honor classes yet . im thinkning of maybe taking chemistry honors but i just BARELY passed my Algebra 1 class sohpomore year and i failed my cashee math test (please dont judge me ive been going through some tough times these past 2 years dealing with my fathers death and just trying to figure my life out .) im really scared about taking it , because as you can tell i SUCK at math and i heard its really hard . people who thought algebra 2 was easy failed chemistry honors . i dont know what to do anymore , i NEED to go to college , it was my dieng dads wish for me to be educated . so pleasee , dont judge me . i've passed all my classes the last 2 years with C's . i tried my best to focus and thats what i got . what other honor classes can i take ? im thinking of taking AP english my senior year , but thats still a big maybe . :/ pleease help mee !</p>
<p>With all due respect, you should not attempt to take chemistry honors if you are really that terrible at math. When I took honors chemistry as a sophomore, I had already been taking pre-calculus and trigonometry at the time. It is definitely the type of class where you want to be very strong in math. In my school, you have to be in algebra 2 to chemistry in the first place. Hope I helped.</p>
