Should I take four years of a language if I plan on studying a different language in college?

I'm a senior and have taken 3 years of Spanish already, but I plan on studying Russian at college (I can understand and read Russian, but I am not proficient in speaking/writing; Russian is spoken at home). If I don't plan on continuing with Spanish in college, does it matter if I don't take it? </p>
