I'm a senior and have taken 3 years of Spanish already, but I plan on studying Russian at college (I can understand and read Russian, but I am not proficient in speaking/writing; Russian is spoken at home). If I don't plan on continuing with Spanish in college, does it matter if I don't take it? </p>
<p>Yes, because college will want to see it on your application.</p>
<p>If the colleges you are targeting require four years, then yes you should do it. Some only require 2-3. Check your schools’ requirements.</p>
