should I take general chemistry

or different kind of chemistry like physical chemistry or Quantitative Analysis so can count as my prerequisites for medical school application. Can I also see list of most important requirements so I don’t mess up my application and take courses that can help improve my chances

Usually you would need to take chemistry if you are going into the medical field. I would HIGHLY suggest speaking to your school academic advisor and they could definitely get you on the right path on what classes you need to take for your major!
Although most schools require mostly science and math classes, each school has slightly different requirements on which classes you need to take.

Hope this helps!

Are you in college? If so, talk to your pre-med advisor.

If you are in HS, Honors or AP chem.

I got no pre-med advisor

From another post you said you failed some college courses. http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/college-life/2146263-i-fail-some-of-my-college-courses.html#latest As noted on that post with multiple failed courses medical school does not appear to be a viable plan. I’d strongly suggest you sit down with your academic advisor to come up with a short and long term game plan.

You should speak to an advisor and come up with a plan.

If you’re a pre-med, then you need general chemistry, organic chemistry and biochemistry, plus coursework in biology, physics, calculus, math-based statistics or biostatistics, psychology, sociology, and 2 semesters of college composition. Many medical schools also recommend taking genetics, human anatomy, and human physiology.

But with multiple failed classes, you have a really, really long way to go fix your GPA. Successful med school applicants need a GPA>3.7. Medical schools do not permit grade replacement. If you retake a class, both the original class grade and the re-take grade will be included in all GPA calculations.

(BTW, medical schools do not accept online coursework to fulfill admission requirements so if you’re taking online classes, that won’t work. Taking your pre-reqs at a community college has problems too.)

You should make an appointment with the academic support center to your college to find out why you are doing so poorly in your classes.
