Should I take my AP Exams?

So I was able to get a scholarship for college and essentially I just have to pay for room and board during my four years. As a senior, I am taking Biology, Physics 1, and Calculus AB. For my future college, if I were to score either a 4 or 5 on each of these I could skip out on some intro courses during my freshman year. However, I was wondering if it would be a good idea to not take the tests and instead take those intro courses and have a decent amount of the course material already under my belt. I know I wouldn’t be an expert on the subjects but it might give me a nice boost to my GPA in college. If anybody had advice on the topic it would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Option C is to take the AP exams and see how you do. You can always decline the credit and take the class in college. Personally, I would take the tests and then make the decision whether to take in college later.
