My October SSAT score is just back.
I took Oct. SSAT just for my experience but I got fairly good score.
Many schools request to take SSAT on Nov. or Dec. but I am wondering
if I can send Oct. score instead of taking another test on Nov. and send it.
Does sending October SSAT score makes any difference in schools' decision?

i doubt it
i suggest you give the 99% one if you genuinely got the score (it's hard to believe you got 800 on verbal though. if you did, CONGRATs. if you're a troll, congrats you fooled me)

99 is the best you can get in a standardized test, remember that

I don't blame you for not believing, I couldn't believe either when I saw my score.
"Yes!" I jumped up and screamed!!

Then, I remembered I already have registered for Nov. test.. I don't think I can get better score than this but if schools want Nov. Dec score... what should I do?!
I guess I just send Oct. score and forget about taking Nov. SSAT....

Whats the difference between the October, November, or December scores? Is one more rigorous? More people take it? do they believed students are more prepared for it, so the percentile is jumped up?

(Oh, and I got an 800 on the verbal too. Good job!)

The October test is limited to a few locations, while the remaining administrations are available at all locations. Schools do not suggest that applicants take the October test on their websites only because of limited availability.

You cannot get a higher score than 99% on all 3 tests. Congratulations! Don't bother taking the Nov. test. See if you can get your money back.

Now you can focus on your school list and applications. Caution: Even with such wonderful scores, don't think that you are a shoe-in at every school.

Hi I am sorry that I am replying on your thread but I wasn’t able to send you a private message, so my question is can you please advise me on how to achieve those scores , those are the scores that I am aiming for and it would mean a lot if you could give me some tips. I am taking the tests in october just for experience but I am hoping to get great scores.

CKASP, would you mind sharing some of your study tips for SAT, what resources did you study and how long you spent studying? I believe it would immensely aid me in my SAT test.
For anyone who wishes to know, I am a Singapore student from Raffles Institution year 9 who is looking to apply to Exeter / Andover for grade 11

I’m taking the SSATs in November! .-. I’m 13, in 8th grade applying for my freshman year
I’m applying to Deerfield, Choate, Phillips Academy, Northfield, and Hotchkiss
I’ve already submitted the Candidate Profile and all my school choices have downloaded. Yeah… that’s like all I’ve done
Haha anyways here are my ECs-
-Swimming competitively for 3 years on a club team. Top 15 in my lsc (New England) for 2 years
-Private Piano lessons for 7 years. I quit last year because I did exams and stuff and I got too busy. For the development program I got High Honors with Distinction for both practical and theory
-I’m on the speech team at school
-I run track. 100m and Long Jump. Long Jump is 14 feet and my 100 is a 13.low
-I speak 3 languages (English, French, Chinese) and am very fluent in the latter
-Private writing tutor for 2 years (i dont know how that helps but i decided to put it on here anyways)

That’s it…

Academics:

My School System is Acton Boxborough (one of the top in the country). It’s really tough here and I’d say sometimes it gets overly competitive. Junior High starts in 7th grade, not 6th.

-My grades were HORRID in 6th. I got a c+ in computation (math) although math is my strong suit.
-In 7th grade it was all As except for an A- in French(?) or was it Math…
-8th grade has just started and I’m not going to jinx anything but I will say that I’ve gotten all A-range scores.
