Should I take Physics Regs or Chemistry AP?

I'm a junior and I just started the year with physics regs because I didn't think I would be able to handle Physics honors. I mainly took it because my counselor said that most colleges look for a physics course. Do colleges really care about physics? Or should I switch to AP Chem? I took Chemistry Honors last year and had a 97 average, so I think I'll be able to handle it. I just think that AP Chem would look better on my transcript than Physics Regs but in order to graduate on a "distinguished program" at my school I have to take physics before I finish my junior year. I'm interested in Psychology so I don't think Chemistry and Physics will be very helpful. Should I drop Physics?

physics > AP chem if not taken yet. It is recommend (Required at some) to be admitted to college.
