I am going to be a junior next year and looking to raise my GPA? Should I take regular physics or AP environmental science? I plan on majoring in business and applying to Cornell, UCLA and more. My high school doesn’t require physics but would I be better off taking physics? Will colleges look for physics?
Physics would probably be better, but if you’re just looking for a gpa boost take AP environmental.
Uugh physics is an awful class for me and if you’re trying to increase your GPA, just take apes. Since you’re majoring in business you won’t even need physics and I think APs are worth a lot in the eyes of colleges. Of course, apes isn’t a very difficult AP but since physics is just honors, they probably even out. Over the summer you could always look at khan academy and see if you’re interested in physics though. Personal enjoyment of a class obviously gives you the most benefit, so choose whichever class you like more tbh…
Yes, you should take physics. It is something you should understand even if you are not going to take it in college.
totally take ap es. if ur not going to deal with physics in college why waste time taking it in school? you dont need either physics or ES in daily life but you get that AP GPA boost
Selective colleges will expect to see bio, chem, physics at any level + one more science. Take Physics regular this year, and take APES next year, or the reverse, but make sure you have Physics.
