Should I take SAT Spanish?

Okay so here's my dilemma. I wanted to take the SAT Subject Spanish test seeing that I am doing very well in AP Spanish and I speak the language very well, but my parents say I shouldn't because if I get a bad score on the test, it might compromise my actual Spanish grades on the transcript.

I already signed up for the October SAT I (I got a 1870, 2050, hoping for 2200+ this time) so I can't take it in October. I was originally planning to take Math Lvl 2 and Spanish w/ Listening in November and hopefully rushing the score to ED/EA if I decide to. When I signed up for the test, I found out that the nearest center to me is already filled and that I would have to travel an hour or so to take the Spanish w/ Listening test. Also, I realized that I would have to buy a CD player too.

Now my dilemma is should I take SAT Spanish at all? Collegeboard doesn't offer reg Spanish in November so that would mean that I would have to wait til December and I would meet the deadline for RD really slim. I am not a native speaker in Spanish but it is almost like my second language; I use Spanish very often and even my teachers say that I am comparable to that of a native speaker. So should I listen to my parents and just forget about Spanish or should I just leg it out and take it w/ listening in November or should I just wait til December to take the test without listening?
