Should I take the SAT again?

Hello,

I am trying to transfer from the college I am at to another. The average high school GPA of freshman admitted to my college is 3.6. The average admitted high school GPA for freshman at the college I am trying to transfer to is 3.8

My SAT was/is in the low 1700s. The average accepted freshman SAT at the college I am applying to is 1900. I have a B average in college, good recommendations, essay, and several rather significant connections with the school I am trying to transfer to.

My question is, should I take the SAT again and try to do a little better, or do they look at other stuff more when you are transferring as opposed to applying as a freshman?

Thanks.

You need to contact the college/university in question, and ask their transfer admissions office whether or not they would accept an SAT score from an exam taken after you started college, and which other factors are important for admissions. Some don’t look at HS grades at all, some do. The only way to know for sure is to ask.

I did ask they said it does not matter when it is from.

Anybody?

If you believe that you can raise your SAT score, then go ahead and take it again.
