Should I Take the SAT?

Hello,

I reside in a small, rural Ohio town. The SAT is alien to us, and the ACT is the way to go. I have a 31 on the ACT (10 on writing) and I am applying to UVa, Georgetown, Boston College, Northeastern U, Boston U, etc. It seems as though everyone on this website has taken both the ACT and SAT, and I am unsure if I should try to cram SAT prep into these last 3 months before taking the test and then applying. I assume I wouldn’t do so well. Will colleges be aware that students from my region do not regularly take the SAT? Any thoughts? Thank you.

Colleges are aware.

Its up to you whether you want to give it a shot. Some people find one test easier than the other. There are probably more productive ways to spend your time though.
