Should I transfer schools after Junior year?

I am currently attending a highly-ranked high school and have a GPA of 4.0. I'm taking two AP classes right now (my school doesn't offer that many and there's a lot of competition to get into classes).

I'm thinking about transferring to another high school in the city that offers more AP classes and has fewer competition. The school isn't as well-known and test scores aren't as high, but if I were to transfer I would be in the top 10%.

I would also be able to get more scholarships since the students at my current school are basically in the same ballpark in terms of GPA and SAT scores and I would stand out compared to students at the new school.

However, I hold leadership roles at my current school and it has a good reputation (Obama visited two years ago). Would transferring be more beneficial than staying at my current school?
